Secretary’s Announcement

Greetings to all ASTOA members.

My name is Minna Mashapa, the newly elected Secretary General. On behalf of the Chairperson, Mr Lekganyane, and the ASTOA Executive Committee, I would like to wish you and your families a Happy New Yearngwaga o moswa!

We extend warm greetings to all our members and take this opportunity to thank you for the continued support you have given the Association.


Annual Renewal Fee (R600.00)

As you all know, our Association is a growth-orientated organisation. Every year, members are required to contribute R600.00 towards running costs, known as the Annual Renewal Fee.

This contribution supports various capital and operational expenses, including:

  • Servicing the debt on the Elandspoort property
  • Rent
  • Stationery
  • General meetings
  • Hired labour
  • IT expenses
  • Equipment expenses
  • Community upliftment projects and sponsorships

Renewal Payment Period

The renewal contribution period starts on 20 January 2026 and ends on 28 February 2026.

We urge all members to comply with this requirement so that the office can operate smoothly throughout the year.

⚠️ Please note: This contribution is compulsory. Failure to pay within the required period will result in a penalty of R1000.00, bringing the total amount payable to R1600.00.


Payment Details

Payments can be made in cash only at the following offices:

  • 1A Mphalane Street, Saulsville
  • 260 Castaletto Street, Elandspoort

No coins will be allowed.
No direct deposit or EFT will be accepted.


Appreciation & Closing

Lastly, I would like to thank all members for the support and contributions shown throughout 2025.

To all our drivers, thank you for the important role you play in transporting our commuters safely to and from their destinations. Please continue to respect the rules of the road, respect commuters, and always drive safely.

We wish you a productive and successful 2026.
